Congratulations to graduating Faculty students

Graduate Students celebrate Christmas

Graduate students from the Faculty gathered together for a Christmas lunch on Monday the 8th of December.
The event was held in the Fellows Room at University House, and provided a great opportunity for students to catch up with friends and find out about each other’s research.

Faculty Burmese lecturer wins prestigious award

Ms Ma Khin Mar Mar Kyi, who teaches the Faculty of Asian Studies course in Burmese, is one of 20 Australians to receive a national “Unsung Heroes” award initiated by ABC TV.
The conferral of the Award coincided with the inauguration of the new National Portrait Gallery in Canberra on December 4th.
