Professor James Cotton [BA (Flinders); MSc (Econ) (LSE - London University; PhD (LSE); Cert (Chinese) (Beijing YuYan Xueyan); MA (Oriental Studies) (Durham), to be Adjunct Professor in the Faculty from 19th July 04 and currently Professor of Political Science - School of Politics UNSW (ADFA). Professor Cotton enjoys a distinguished reputation as a scholar in Asian and Australian regional relations, Asian political traditions and contemporary Asia, comparative politics and development of the Asian NICs, and the politics and international relations of the Koreas and East Timor.
