Mr Yadav [BA, BEd (Agra), MA (Aligarh); Lecturer in the South Asia Centre] specialises in Hindi and Urdu language and literature and in the Indian cultural tradition in Fiji. His teaching program includes responsibility for the Facultys intensive Applied Hindi course offered in India in January and February of each year.
His publications include Advanced Aural Exercises in Hindi (Canberra, 1985, 1991), An Introduction to Hindi and Urdu (with R.K. Barz) (New Delhi, 1993) and Bhutlane ki Katha (with B. Lal) (Delhi, 1994).
Himalaya Hindi House offers short intensive and long courses in Hindi from mid-June to August with a Himalayan experience of a lifetime. Other courses may be offered at different times on demand.
