Intensive conversational courses in India
The Hindi 2 A-B: in-country (HIND2002) and Hindi 2 C-D: in-country (HIND3002) courses (formerly Applied Hindi and Advanced Applied Hindi) are offered each year for six weeks in January-February in a city in northern India. Each course has 12 units' academic credit from The Australian National University (ANU) and is equivalent to two semester-long courses at ANU. They are open to anyone, whether an ANU student or not, who has at least a year's university-level study of Hindi or its equivalent.
In addition, three new Hindi and Urdu in-country courses have been introduced by the Faculty of Asian Studies. These are each worth 6 units of credit to students enrolled in The Australian National University's programs.
More information and course outlines on all five courses are available on the Faculty's website.
