Deveni Temu, from Papua New Guinea was University Librarian of the PNG University of Technology (Unitech), Lae. In mid 1993 left Lae with his family to be Chief Librarian of the Noumea based Secretariat of Pacific Community(SPC). Relocated to Canberra in mid 1999 and was Library Manager of Charles Sturt University School of Theology, Barton Campus. He is currently the ANU Pacific Librarian based at the Menzies Building. He has many library and academic contacts in Australia and the region.
